1/3 Cup Sugar
1/3 Cup Heavy Cream
1 Cup Half and Half
4 Large Egg Yolks, Beaten
1/3 Cup Sciabica's Orange Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1/3 Cup Chopped Pecans
1 Sprig Mint
1 Drizzle Sciabica's Sweet Peach Balsamic
In a saucepan, mix Sugar, Heavy Cream, Half and Half, and Egg Yolks.
Set your stove to Medium heat and pour in your EVOO while stirring.
Heat until the mixture just begins to boil. (NOTE: Do not actually boil the mixture, we want to heat the eggs thoroughly without scrambling them.)
Pour hot contents of the pan into a dish that can be frozen. Freeze ice cream overnight.
Serve with chopped pecans and fresh mint garnish. Finish with a light drizzle of Sciabica's Sweet Peach Balsamic.
