In the mid-1800s, the citizens of Pilsen in the Czech Republic were so dissatisfied with the local beer’s quality that they took matters into their own hands and formed a new brewery. At the time, most beers were dark and heavy. The new brewery produced a lighter beer using new techniques such as bottom-fermentation and pale roasted malts. The refreshing new beer was soon being produced all over the world. Today, we pay homage to those citizens of Pilsen, who would accept nothing but the best, with our refreshingly crispy Pilsner – a craft brew that captures the subtle stone-fruit aromas of the malt, with a delicate honey note and crispy clean finish.
