Hillside 7 Estate Pressing: In 1925, Nicola Sciabica purchased a grape vineyard in Modesto, California; 11 years later he began pressing olive oil on that property. Then in 2002, the Sciabica Family planted 7 specifically chosen varieties of olives on a sloped 5-acre hillside, quite literally in the shape of California! The hillside allows for precise water distribution and drainage. Each tree is drip irrigated from our estate well to ensure perfect water availability for the trees while maximizing conservation. The Estate Pressing of these olives is dubbed "Hillside 7".

I've ordered Sciabica olive oil and other products for years and have always loved their delicious olive and specialty oils. The Hillside 7 and extreme Garlic are two of my favorites!! So, I ordered this pack to give as a Christmas gift. Unfortunately, USPS, threw the package around so much, that the gift arrived with leaking oil. I called Sciabica, explained the situation and they overnight a new gift pack, at no charge. In addition, they called me to follow up to make sure I received it and I was happy.
