Since it’s discovery several centuries ago, vinegar has been used as a preservative, a medicine, and even a beverage. The earliest method for making it involved leaving wine in an open container and waiting for it to sour. Wine vinegar comes in red and white varieties. Because it’s made with red wine, the red variety has a strong, full flavor.

Red wine vinegar is very nice

I make so many things from scratch due to a corn allergy. Sciabica keeps products simple. I appreciate that. I appreciate the friendly people of the Sciabica family. True it is sunshine in a bottle.

Red Wine Vinegar review

This is the best red wine vinegar I have ever had, and unlike anything else available on the market. It really has a bite to it. We have used this for years. I use it mostly in homemade dressings, and when making cacciatore, and it adds so much flavor to the recipe.
