Very good bold flavor & color. Mixed well with my added ingredients. ONLY negative for me was that it had a higher acid taste than I favor. Easily fixed with the addition of a little sugar.
I bought quite a few jars of this and it's my favorite out of all the tomato sauces. It has a plain fresh taste of tomatoes. I also like the glass jars vs can even though both are fine to use. It was a good base to create your own sauce to your own taste, in fact, fresh basil and parmesan cheese is a real simple added ingredient for a great taste..and ofcourse, a few added homemade meatballs cooked in sciabica oils of garlic, basil etc and bon appetit!.... The color is of good ripe tomatoes.
