I always cook fish with this .YUM!

At some point in the late '80s or early '90s, my husband and I were in San Francisco for a meeting. The Saturday morning that we were there, we got up early and went to the Farmer's Market (down near the water .. maybe the Ferry Terminal?) and at one of the small tables there, we came upon a few of the Sciabica family and I tasted their olive oil. (It was the lemon-pressed olive oil.) It was the best I had ever tasted, and from that moment on, it is the ONLY olive oil I have purchased, even tho I have always lived on the opposite side of the country from the family and their farm! It was expensive to ship (and the packaging was nothing like it is today, so breakage sometimes happened [always cheerfully replaced!]) but it was WORTH IT. I am eating a salad RIGHT NOW with a dressing that I made from this olive oil. I cannot tell you enough how much I love it and how thankful I am for that Saturday morning at the Farmers Market, more than thirty years ago. PS: I remember calling to place an order one time and talking with Uncle Tony? Joe? (I'm sorry I can't remember his name! I doubt he is still alive.) But he was so lovely and it was such an honor to speak with him.
