I like the oil in my skin. It doesn’t sit on the skin and smear on everything that you come close to. Only objection is the lavender fragrance doesn’t last.
When I ordered this body oil the mailing address somehow defaulted to my daughter-in-law. Sciabica kindly sent me one to replace it at no charge. Both my daughter-in-law and I live in very dry climates and were extremely pleased with the immediate moisturizing effect of this body oil. The lavender scent is delicious, but subdued. We both love it.

I love this lavender skin moisturizer. A little goes a long way. What I do, is use my favorite hand cream and add a small amount of this moisturizer to it. It's fantastic.
I use straight lavender moisturizer to my cuticles and any cracking around my thumbs. I live in Missouri now, previously from Modesto. It's wicked cold this winter (2026). I'm so happy that I purchased this product.

I use a couple of squirts of the lavender olive oil in my daily lotion routine and it makes my skin so soft and it smells so good.
I love lavender and have used pure lavender oil on my skin before, but I found that I was getting a rash on my face. I still use the Sciabica oil on my arms, legs and feet and it feels good. The oil bottle does not put out a mist as I thought, just the oil. So I need to be careful as I pump the bottle not to get a big amount out at one time.
I have dry skin & have been using this product for several years & it really makes a difference. I love it.

Why clear glass?
Studies show UVA light is the culprit in aging olive oil. Your car windshield is perfectly clear, but treated with UV inhibitors and blocks nearly all UV.
Unfortunately, it's not feasible to treat bottles with UV inhibitors, so protection comes from proper storage and a large label that literally shields your olive oil.
We choose clear glass because it lets you see the color of your olive oil, one of the best indicators of freshness and age. Green glass isn't bad, but it is a good way to hide bad oil.
Best of all, we keep your olive oil in the dark, all the way to your doorstep. That's much better than a green bottle on a store shelf ;)
